Belle Log Cabin Loch Awe

Belle is located in a secluded area within a loch cabin park, 1 minute from the shores of Loch Awe and 4 minutes from the forest.

The cabin is surrounded by an open garden on the side and at the back of the property, lots of trees and access to the little stream (a burn) below. 

Washing machines and dryers are available at the social club with the use of regular coins.

The whole area is home to local wildlife and is vibrant with colours & surroundings.

From here you can walk around the area and the Barnaline forest is 5 minutes away.

There are longer walks in the area, all the way to Avic Falls and Loch Avic, it is so beautiful.

There is a little village called Dalavich at the centre of the park, 5min walk away, where you will find a local club, that offers food & drinks at weekends and also a well stocked little shop & post office (watch for opening times on their Facebook page on Dalavich Shop & Wild Rowan Café (@Dalavichshop), they also offer take away food & lunches.

Once you have travelled to us, all is on foot, the cabin comes with two free parking spaces at front.

How to get there –

From EDINBURGH 3 1/2 hours by car, Follow this link on maps (https://maps.app.goo.gl/cpK3QksvgMwyRCCTA) or Take go as follows Edinburgh -> M9 Stirling -> Doune (so cute)-> Callander (super cute and a Tesco for last minute stuff)-> Lochearnhead -> A82 towards Crianlarich -> Just past the Green Welly Stop at Tyndrum turn left on to the A85 towards Oban -> Follow this road through Dalmally and along the north shore of Loch Awe. – Near Taynuilt Take the a sharp left off to B845 towards Kilchrenan. (These are your last 30 minutes drive and tit is a small and windy road stick to 40 miles/hour!) – Go through Kilchrenan and after 7.5 miles you will arrive at Dalavich. –

– The cabin way is on the SECOND LEFT TURN, before the village centre.

(!!!the first left being where the big green sign for The Cabins is, and the recycling bins and general bins are located for the whole site!!!)

– take the first left and follow the rounded road around the big expanse of grass, the social club and car park are on your right and the grass on the left.

Cabin 7, Belle, is located in the next left turn area, take a right in the little access road to 7 & 8, parking is right at front, please park respectfully and leave free access to the adjacent cabin thank you.

From GLASGOW Take the M8 towards Erskine Bridge. – Turn off on to the M898 and cross bridge. – After the Bridge turn left on to the A82 towards Loch Lomond. – Stay on this road until you reach Tarbet where you turn right on to the A82 towards Crianlarich. – At Crianlarich turn left after going under the railway bridge. – Just past the Green Welly Stop at Tyndrum turn left on to the A85 towards Oban. – Follow this road through Dalmally and along the north shore of Loch Awe. – Near Taynuilt Take the B845 towards Kilchrenan. – Go through Kilchrenan and after 7.5 miles (seems further) you will arrive at Dalavich.
