Albynn Townhouse was a wonderful find for our first stay in Edinburgh and the perfect start to a truly magical trip to discover Scotland with my son.
It’s a beautiful home - tastefully and eclectically decorated and spotlessly clean. The location is just a short walk from the charming Bruntsfield area, with its independent shops, boutiques and eateries, and perfectly situated for exploring Edinburgh.
Lydie is a delightful host—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, always ready to help, recommend, and ensure a comfortable stay.

Albyn Townhouse is a great place to stay. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Lydie is a wonderfully friendly and welcoming host. We had a great time exploring Edinburgh and enjoyed the choice of restaurants in the area. We will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely stunning! The bed was the comfiest we've ever slept in and our room was warm, calm and beautifully decorated.
Location is great, very quiet with parking if you need it and close to lots of lovely cafes and restaurants.
Lydie is an amazing host. So friendly and hospitable. She helped us deal with an emergency with our daughter so kindly - we really appreciated that personal touch.
We absolutely loved our stay here. The whole house is unique and beautiful. And the room was perfect, with a fabulous view. Spotlessly clean and lots of attention to detail. Lydie is so welcoming and we used her advice from the information sheet she sent to make the most of our stay. We had a wonderful trip out to South Queensferry too. The Bruntsfield area has all you need for every meal and great bus links to wherever you want to go. Thanks for a wonderful stay 🏴
Stayed at Albyn Townhouse for 2 nights with 3 friends. All of us were mostly satisfied with the provided services. The rooms are lovely decorated, clean and have coffee and thee available. Parking could go for free and the shared leaving room was not so much inviting to spent time. But once again in Edinburgh I would come again and can only recommend this accomodation.

The perfect place to stay for our three days in Edinburgh. Quiet location, with buses to the city center just around the corner, and nice pubs, restaurants, and cafés within walking distance. The room was very clean and cozy; the bed was very comfortable. Communication with Lydie was excellent, and the self-check-in process was very easy. I highly recommend Albyn Townhouse.
Albyn Townhouse is such a loveley and inviting accommodation in the laid-back Brunsfield neighborhood, which made our stay in the amazing city of Edinburgh an amazing experience.
A real find; located about 3 mins walk from great cafes and bistros in a pretty street. Really quiet, spotless and spacious room in an elegant period house with cool and quirky decor. Fab shower! Lydie is a really friendly and responsive host and the place is beautifully looked after. A lovely walk across the links and meadows takes you to centre of Edinburgh.
